How does it work, in a nutshell?
We (as in you and us) mutually agree on a set of search phrases that makes sense for your business and your budget. We (just us) incorporate those target search terms into a proposal that sets out the terms and the pricing for your review.
The pricing structure includes a one-time start-up fee of $350, due after we've finished our first steps on your project. Monthly fees vary, but start at $475.
We do not start charging the monthly fees until your website is on the first page of either Yahoo or Google for at least half of your target search terms. This performance guarantee separates us from all the other SEO firms and ensures that we are motivated to deliver results and that you are getting your money's worth.
Who picks the phrases: you or me?
We start with an a conversation with you and a thorough examination of your website to understand your business. Then we'll use our tools to figure out what people are searching for in your market, and for which phrases can we achieve first-page placement in a reasonable period of time. We share our findings with you in a proposal, and discuss them with you to come up with the definitive list of target phrases.
How many target search phrases do you work on?
For our minimum monthly fee of $475, we typically work on 6 to 10 phrases. The more competitive the phrases, the fewer we can work on at that price. At the other end of the spectrum, our largest client has about 60 target phrases and they're being billed just under $3,000 per month. No matter your budget, we strive to get you the best value in terms of relevant traffic for your dollar.
How long does it take?
Usually 3 or 4 months but it can take as long as 10 months or more for highly competitive target search terms; however, you pay NO monthly fees while we are enhancing the placement of your website in order to reach our ranking guarantee.
I don't care about Yahoo. Can we modify your guarantee for placement only on Google?
Yes, but we do charge a premium for a Google-only guarantee. Consider, though, that Yahoo is the default search engine for Rogers Internet users and accounts for 30% of the search engine market share. We believe that Yahoo should be part of any Internet marketing project.
Once I hit the placement guarantee, do I get billed for all the months before being found?
No, once we hit our minimum placement commitment, the monthly fees are charged only for each month going forward. You reap the benefit of all the incremental improvements that occur while we are working you up the rankings at no charge.
Can I change the target phrases?
We understand that in order to stay current in a changing business environment you will need to change your target search terms from time to time. There may be additional charges to add or change search terms to your contract; each case is evaluated individually.
How do I handle the huge influx of clients?
Traffic builds gradually over time. You have to consider search engine optimization a long term marketing strategy. Our best placed clients are typically those who have been with us the longest.
